Computer build (back in 2012)

My primary development machine that I built back in 2012, haven’t got around to documenting the build until now. Should probably be building another one soon but this one running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS seems to be just fine for my purposes.

Received all of the components probably from newegg.
750 W power supply installed into tower case
Intel i7 Processor installed into Sabertooth Motherboard mounted in chassis and plugged into power supply.
All eight DIMM slots occupied for a total of 32 GB RAM installed. The Sabertooth can take 64 GB RAM total but then would need 8 new DIMMs
Thermal grease applied to processor prior to installation of heat sink.
Liquid cooled heat sink prior to installation.
Liquid cooled heat sink installed into chassis.
Heat sink installed on processor, NVIDIA GTX 660 installed into AGP slot, and 3 TB Seagate SATA drive installed. The 3 TB drive ultimately failed about a year ago and I had to get a recovery company to retrieve my files. Have since replaced the drive with a 6 TB Seagate Ironwolf drive.
Complete system originally running an early version of Fedora Linux operating system.
